Project A04 investigates the dynamics of the activation of frames and conceptual components within frames in language production and comprehension using on-line behavioral and neurocognitive paradigms. More specifically, A04 aims at finding empirical support for the assumption that attributes in frames may be frame-specific and encapsulated. This will in particular involve experiments on the activation of color in high color-diagnostic concepts. But A04 will also continue to study a broader range of attributes in order to better understand their status in conceptual frames.
